At long last, a cosplay of my most favorite character from Blue Exorcist!! *happy dance*

I've always loved and admired Rin's character. He's strong, cute, funny, caring, and completely selfless... (the-perfect-character-much?)
So finally being able to cosplay him makes me feel utter happiness and a sense of accomplishment (and I truly hope I've portrayed him well enough...).

I'll admit that I was a bit nervous at first to cosplay him because he has such distinct features (demon ears and tail), and I honestly did not know how they would look on me. But I was happy (and surprised) with the results because my tail actually didn't look half-bad in person and in photos. And many people complimented my tail throughout the convention I attended for the weekend. (Hahaha~~~ that made me really happy).


The Photoshoot:
During the convention, my friends and I went into the hotel's parking garage where a portion of it was barricaded off (for Valet Parking). It was quiet, isolated, and gave us the privacy needed for our photoshoot (which was perfect, because my sword is real... and according to convention rules and regulations, real steel is not allowed).
I also really loved the location because it gave off this grungy feel, which I believe suits the characters of Blue Exorcist PERFECTLY. So we really lucked out on the location for this shoot. ^_^

At first, it was a bit difficult to figure out proper poses for Rin's character because in the anime and manga, he is so dynamic and is always constantly moving and fighting when he draws his sword out. (And my poses were much too static and robotic for my liking...) >__<;;
So in the end, I tried acting a bit as Rin (the way I feel he would act in real life) just to make things a little easier and more interesting.
